Charisma is a highly sought-after quality: the ability to persuade, influence, and even impact one’s environment. Charismatic individuals are often associated with leadership, authority, and personal appeal. They display presence, and their voice carries clearly and effectively.
Who has never dreamed of being charismatic!
There is, however, a common assumption about charisma: that it is a natural gift and cannot be developed. But is this really the case? What if you could gain access to this highly sought-after quality through structured training? What if your voice could finally carry?
What if you could be charismatic in all circumstances, through a methodical approach with an expert who works with you on both the content of your message, your physical presence, your posture, and your voice? This is precisely what this training is designed to achieve.
Who is it for?
This training is intended for any individual seeking to access another dimension of personal expression, in order to develop charisma in a methodical, measurable, and guaranteed manner.
This training can be delivered in an individual or group format, depending on needs.
Duration:
A two-day training program (consecutive or non-consecutive), structured around several stages.
- Vocal and postural diagnosis measuring the different components of the voice (speech rate, harmonic spectrum, etc.), posture, breathing, etc.
- Assessment of rhetoric and verbal agility through an in-depth questionnaire: this constitutes the roadmap on which the coaching program is based. You will know precisely where you start from and where you are heading.
- Definition of the four different types of charisma, what they represent, what an audience expects from them, and the representations commonly associated with them.
- Identification of the different types of discourse expected from a charismatic individual, how to define them, and how to appropriate them according to your own type of charisma.
- Correlation between the different types of charisma, the expected posture and voice, and how to appropriate them with full awareness of the vocal and acoustic image you convey.
- Introduction via scientific studies to what a voice reveals and what it wants to tell us
- Anatomy of the posture underlying the voice, how it serves our purpose, how it defines us as individuals in the eyes of others.
- Exercises to practice at home to loosen the voice and vocal support: personalized instructions according to the initial diagnosis.
- Practical work: separate content and form, voice, breathing, and posture, then bring everything together for an even more impactful message. Multiple situational exercises in a supportive context to progress effectively. Delivery of a speech in front of a close audience.
Learning objectives:
- Become aware of the different types of charisma to which one can or wishes to belong.
- Analyze the different components of voice and posture in charismatic people.
- Master vocal projection and its inflections regardless of circumstances (public speaking, hierarchical manager) and locations (meeting room, auditorium, coffee machine) to be heard even in a predominantly male audience.
- Understand the personality of our interlocutors by listening to the quality of their voice (Asthenia, Roughness, Subglottic Overpressure, etc.) and adapt vocal response accordingly.
- Define improvement areas for voice use to continue optimizing it individually after the training.
Methodology:
- Collection of participant needs, first session with camera to define rhetorical and vocal characteristics.
- Recording an audio capsule before and after the training to observe progression and harmonic spectrum intensity.
- Complete theoretical presentation of what a voice is, what it says about you, etc.
- Targeted exercises to learn how to breathe (abdominal, costo-diaphragmatic, intercostal, etc.). Identify areas of respiratory stress through targeted postural practices.
- Holistic understanding of the voice as a consequence of posture and breathing, analysis of cause-and-effect relationships between posture, subglottic pressure, vocal fold compression, etc.
- Mechanical emulation of different types of charisma from postural, vocal, and rhetorical points of view.
- Targeted diction exercises and speech rate mastery.
- Systematic audio and video recordings with analysis of the voice harmonic spectrum for an image of emitted sounds and resonance.
